Connector Group
The Louisiana SPDG aims to facilitate scientifically/evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies through creating a connector structure that will link initiatives and agencies to inform one another, and provide opportunities for planning, collaboration, and product development. The connector group will also serve the function of coordinating, collecting, and making accessible the professional development, and resources developed by state initiatives (e.g., SWPBS, Low Incidence Consortium, Response to Intervention (RtI), Family/School Linkages, and Autism Initiative). This structure will establish linkages with initiatives and agencies that are providing services to ensure a coherent, sustained program of training in the field while minimizing the duplication of efforts.
