Advisory Team An Advisory Team of professionals, self-advocates, and family members representing multiple perspectives will guide the LaSIG 2 Management Team. The Advisory Team will be a small group of "critical friends" knowledgeable in the areas of disproportionality and culturally responsive systems, self-advocacy, family perspective, scientifically/evidence-based behavioral and instructional strategies, and inclusive practices. The Advisory Team will meet two times per year and inform the decisions made by the Management Team. The members of the Advisory Team are as follows:

Management Team The LaSIG 2 Management Team will manage and adjust activities according to regular review of data and processes. The Management Team will ensure timely review of data and that progress is being made towards implementation of goals and objectives and expected outcomes. Data will also be used to assure program effectiveness and the need to adjust strategies. This team will be made up of core staff (i.e., Director and Co-Director, Coordinator, Site Liaisons, Family Coordinator, People First Coordinator/Mentor), LDE staff representing general education initiatives (e.g., family coordinators, school improvement, accountability, professional development, Louisiana Educational Leaders Network, data systems), and stakeholders representing other perspectives (e.g., IHE, districts/schools).
